Justin Powers
Founder & Chief Flight Instructor
Justin's aviation career began in the United States Marine Corps in 2007 as an MV-22 Airframe Mechanic, where he built the discipline and safety-focused mindset that still guides him today. During 10 years of active duty, he earned his Private Pilot Certificate for both airplanes and helicopters in 2012 and an Airframe & Powerplant mechanic certification in 2016.
After leaving the military, Justin moved into civilian aviation, performing major aircraft overhauls before moving into a lead safety management role in the professional helicopter industry. He earned his Certified Flight Instructor rating in 2020 and has since continued building his experience across military and civilian aviation.
For students learning to fly, a stable, well-designed training aircraft can help reduce unnecessary workload and allow more attention to be focused on developing good habits, understanding aircraft control, and building confidence.
